[Maybe it was stupid to go "fuck it" and run away from his mother's house last month, but frankly Kunikaki cannot be bothered to think it was stupid. He is seventeen and absolutely fucking tired of his mother's bullshit and his sister's somehow worse bullshit. (He gets it, he understands that his mother never recovered from her sister's death, but he doesn't have to deal with it anymore.) So yeah, he ran away.

And now he's pretty sure some freak is following him as he winds his way through the city, trying to escape the fucker, but whatever. He'll make do.]

[They keep up their bickering the entire trip out, only stopping long enough to check out and pay without being considered assholes. They start up again as soon as they're done and keep going until Kuni is putting food away in the kitchen.]

I'm too tired to cook, so we'll have take out this one time.

[The bickering is fun, in a weird sort of way. It should probably be at least a little bit annoying, but somehow Heizou doesn't mind it. He pokes at Kuni for the entire shopping trip, and can't help but find all of his reactions to just be so damn cute.

He's leaning on the kitchen island while Kuni is putting things away, when those magic words make him perk up like a happy puppy.]

Oooh! What're you thinking? What would you like??

[Kuni makes a show of checking for Heizou's tail.]

Pizza. There's plenty of leftovers with it, after all.

[He just sticks his tongue out. Rude! And then he pulls his phone out and starts looking for a good place.]

Pizza? I guess we can do pizza. What kind?

...can you eat onions?

[Kuni tends to get supreme pizzas, so.]

Hmmm... I think so. I haven't had any problems with onions so far.

Then a supreme, at the very least.

[He finds a decent place to order from and adds a supreme pizza to to the cart.]

We'll split a large one, then?

Works for me. Get some soda too, I guess.

[Tap tap tap at his phone.]

Something sugar-free, I assume?

Blech. No. I don't like sweet things, but I hate fake sweeteners even more.

[He looks up with an amused grin on his face.]

Oh really? So what kinds of sodas do you even like?

Regular cola is about all I can stand. Ginger ale, if I'm sick.

Come over here and pick a flavor, then. They have a couple.

[He beckons Kuni over with a finger, holding his phone out a little so Kuni can get a look at the selection.]

[He does, tapping on a regular cola brand he likes and also adding garlic bread to the order.]

[And if Heizou lets himself shift just a tiny bit closer to Kuni while they're standing together, that's his own business. The other's scent really does have a calming effect on him, and right now it kind of makes Heizou want to bury his nose into his shoulder. He resists, though.]

Good choice! Should be here in half an hour~

Good. Plenty of time to get a shower, stinky.

[Heizou wrinkles his nose as he finishes up what he's doing on his phone, then turns to stick his tongue out at Kuni as he puts it away.]

Wow. I'm the one with the strong nose here!
