[Maybe it was stupid to go "fuck it" and run away from his mother's house last month, but frankly Kunikaki cannot be bothered to think it was stupid. He is seventeen and absolutely fucking tired of his mother's bullshit and his sister's somehow worse bullshit. (He gets it, he understands that his mother never recovered from her sister's death, but he doesn't have to deal with it anymore.) So yeah, he ran away.

And now he's pretty sure some freak is following him as he winds his way through the city, trying to escape the fucker, but whatever. He'll make do.]

[Heizou wrinkles his nose as he finishes up what he's doing on his phone, then turns to stick his tongue out at Kuni as he puts it away.]

Wow. I'm the one with the strong nose here!

Hey, I was moving boxes and furniture around all day while you were fussing over the kitchen. You could cut me a little slack, here~

[He huffs and pouts like a child, but then turns to go with a dramatic flick of his long hair.]

Fiiiiine. Go take a break from your fussing~

I need to finish organizing things.

[Heizou pauses to raise an eyebrow at him, and then-]

If I come out and you're still organizing things, I'm increasing your half of the mortgage!

You literally cannot do that, since I am paying the mortgage in dinner and dog-sitting!

[Cheerfully as he disappears around the corner--]

Increasing the mortgage~!!

[But when Heizou comes out, Kuni will be done organizing things and will be trying to log in to Netflix.]

[He returns to the living room in fresh clean clothes and his damp hair tied up in a high ponytail, beaming when he sees that Kuni isn't still fussing in the kitchen.]

Ooooh~ Did you finish for the day, or are you actually taking a break?

I can't do anything until Amazon gets here.

Also hm. That ponytail is...very nice on Heizou. Hm.]

What's your Netflix?

[He doesn't wear his hair up like this very often. Mostly because it reveals traces of the wolf bite that turned him on the back of his neck. But Heizou feels good right now, and it's Kuni, so he doesn't mind if he sees now. He already knows, after all.]

Hmm? What, you haven't figured out my password by now?

Just because I could hack and figure it out doesn't mean I'm going to.

[It's a good look. The bite scar, though...Kuni does not like what that means.]

[He grins a little as he takes over, putting in his password to get Netflix up.]

That's surprising~ I would've expected you to enjoy the challenge.

[That makes him snort.]

That's not a challenege, that's something I could do in fifteen minutes.

And yet you didn't! Awww, does that mean you like me~~?

[He pokes at Kuni playfully as he goes to flop down onto the couch.]

It means I don't want to go snooping in your stuff because who knows what I'll find?

Oh no, the horrors of my Netflix recommendations will be revealed~

[His grin just gets bigger. He likes Kuni, too. Maybe more than he knows right now.]

Now sit and we can pick something for when the pizza gets here!

[Yeah, he's letting Heizou pick. So what?]

[Well, that means it's going to be some crazy true crime show about the weirdest cases that have ever been solved. Heizou likes to see if he can figure them out before reaching the end of the episode. He does have his phone nearby, waiting to be pinged for the food delivery.]

[Kuni doesn't mind this, clearly, as he settles in to watch and wait. Eventually the pizzas do get here, and he goes to get the plates.]

[Heizou's the one who answers the door and brings everything over to the coffee table, arranging everything to be easily within reach. He's also grabbing a slice of pizza before Kuni even comes back with the plates.]

[He rather pointedly sets down the plates and the paper towels, as well as cups for their soda.]

Messy.

[His mouth is full so he just wrinkles his nose playfully at Kuni, even as he leans forward again to put his pizza on the offered plate.]

It's pizza! It's not that messy.
